The students may have free dress for the Spring / Buddy Portraits, .
PARENTS ! we need your assistance in making sure your student has the appropriate clothing on. Please refer to student handbook page 11-13. This handbook is located on www.russell.schoolloop.com (location along the left column).
Students not in appropriate attire will not be able to take a picture. So please make sure your Students makes a good clothing choices. Thank you.

LSU/BSU Movie night
Russell's LSU/ BSU club would like to invite you, and your family to our 1st Annual TRMS Family Movie Night fundraiser this. We will be showing Glory Road rated PG in the gym. It is an incredible story of a college basketball team that changed the game forever.
Do not cook or go out for dinner, come join us in our gym. The event will be from . tickets go up to $3 and the tickets will be sold at the door. We will have Food Trucks, Music, Popcorn and Drinks! Students at Thomas Russell Middle School helped set new world record in Sport Stacking!
With help from 52 of the 7th and 8th grade stackers at Russell a new world record was set on November 14th as part of the 2013 STACK UP! According to the World Sport Stacking Association (WSSA), this year's event exceeded all expectations with 555,932 stackers world-wide taking part on Guinness World Records Day smashing the 2012 mark of 483,658. The stackers spanned the globe hailing from 30 countries and representing 2,631 schools and organizations. This is the eighth year the WSSA has teamed up with teachers, physical educators, and youth leaders from around the world to set a Guinness World Record for "Most People Sport Stacking at Multiple Locations in One Day." All stackers were required to be engaged in Sport Stacking for at least 30 minutes on November 14th. At Russell the event coincided with the first meeting of the StackFast Club hosted by Dr. Baylor. Before School Library Hours
Any Student arriving at school before 8:00a must go to the School Library.
The hours are 7:30 - 8:00a, Monday through Friday, when school is in session.There will be supervision and time should be used for extra studying, silent reading and to complete assignments.
